Registration Open for 2023 Health Research Conference

KINGSTON, Jamaica. Monday, November 13, 2023: The Ministry of Health and Wellness will host its annual flagship National Health Research Conference (NHRC), from November 15-17, 2023 and members of the public are invited to register online at https://mohw-nhrc2023.vfairs.com/en/ to participate in this virtual conference.
The National Health Research Conference is a significant forum for showcasing a wide range of medical, biomedical, and scientific research that can be used to improve policy and practice for the Ministry and the wider public health system.
The theme for this year’s 14th staging is “Taking Responsibility: Our Health and Wellness in Focus”. The Conference will highlight abstract presentations from areas relating to Mental Health; Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs); Reproductive Health; Technology in Health and Climate Change. The three-day conference will also feature engaging guest presentations and robust panel discussions around relevant topics including telemedicine and health, oral health and NCDs, and digital health.
The conference is free and open virtually to members of the public, and students and health professionals, who attend all three days will be awarded continuing education credits.
