God’s Got You
When tragedy strikes, problems seem insurmountable, and you’re so stressed you don’t know which way to turn, you need to talk to someone who cares. Keeping everything all bottled up inside of you only makes things worse. It’s difficult to ‘walk through’ what you won’t ‘talk through.’ But “who” you talk to makes all the difference.
No matter what challenge, difficulty, or trial you may be experiencing–talk to God! Prayer is the answer and it is the only answer. When you pray, you have direct communication with God, the King of the Universe, who in His wisdom intercedes on your behalf. Sadly, many times people don’t seek God’s guidance and, instead, struggle needlessly. They may feel the situation is hopeless, thinking, “What’s the point? Nothing will change.” But the truth is, with God nothing is impossible! The Bible says in Matthew 19:26, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” There is no problem that God can’t solve; no sin that can’t be overcome, no illness that can’t be healed, or no situation that can’t be remedied. Not once in the Bible are we told to “worry about it,” “stress over it,” or “figure it out.” But over and over, it clearly says to “trust God.” Instead of rehearsing your difficulties continuously in your mind, give your worries and concerns to Jesus and trust Him to work all things out for His good, according to His will.
When you pray, there is no need to tell God how to answer your prayers. He knows the end from the beginning and what is best for you. Pray with faith, confident that God knows what He’s doing and He alone has the power to make it right! So relax, take a deep breath, stop pacing the floor, and rest in the comfort of knowing that . . . God’s got you!
