KINGSTON, Jamaica. Monday, August 16, 2021: The Ministry of Health and Wellness has invited Jamaican companies to partner with the Ministry by providing incentives to members of the public in support of its vaccination drive.

Dr. the Hon Christopher Tufton stated “Already we have a number of corporate entities that have expressed an interest in collaborating with us on this and we are extending an invitation to other companies to partner with us”.

Companies that are interested in partnering with the Ministry, can contact the Health for Life and Wellness Foundation by sending an email to cephasc@moh.gov.jm or by calling 876-820-6019 for more information.

Up to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, the Minsitry had vaccinated some 391,076 persons – 255,961 first doses; 134,186 second doses and 929 single doses.

The target is to administer some 700,000 doses of the vaccine by the end of September, in pursuit of the goal to have 65% of the Jamaican population vaccinated by March 2022.
