Pharmacy Week Promotes “Access to Health”

A huge congratulations to the Standards and Regulation Division, for the planning and execution of Pharmacy Week 2019. The division executed a series of activities from November 19 - 22, under the theme “Access to Pharmacist Is Access to Health”.
The week started off on a high note with an exhibition hosted by the Division on the Verandah of its Barbados Avenue office. Day two comprised of a series of health checks, which included blood pressure and blood sugar test and a number of fun activities including Pharmacy Jeopardy. The event was well supported by members of the public who engaged in the activities presented.
There were a number of activities slated for the last day of the week’s celebration, one such was a forum with the pharmaceutical industry, which commenced at 9:00 a.m. at the RKA Building. The next event which started at 1:00PM, was an educational forum for the staff members of Ministry of Health and Wellness hosted at the same venue. The highlight of the day was when the raffle winners were awarded with assorted gift baskets and other prizes.
