Introducing Miss Lovette Byfield, Principal Director, National Family Planning Services Division

Miss Lovette Byfield has been appointed the Principal Director of the National Family Planning Services Division in the Ministry of Health & Wellness. Miss Byfield will provide oversight to the Division, which strategic objective is to enable individuals to achieve their reproductive health goals through an integrated system of healthcare, which provides universal access to comprehensive services in an enabling and supportive environment enhanced by multi-sectoral partnerships. 
 

Miss Byfield is a dynamic, goal-oriented team player with over 28 years of professional experience in programme management, including project management and strategic planning. She is the former Executive Director of the National Family Planning Board; HIV Prevention Specialist in the Department of Community Health & Physiatry in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Mona;  Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the West indies and Director of HIV Prevention, Ministry of Health & Wellness. 

Currently a PhD candidate, Miss Byfield holds a Master's Degree in Communication for Social & Behaviour Change, a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Relations and a Bachelor of Science Degree in History & Social Sciences.
