Health Ministry launches Vaccination Web Portal

KINGSTON, Jamaica. Monday, August 16, 2021: The Ministry of Health and Wellness has launched a COVID-19 Vaccination website, as part of efforts to ensure that Jamaicans have access to information on the COVID-19 vaccines. This website details information on the different vaccines and their efficacy, vaccination blitz sites, permanent sites, as well as a feature where persons are able to conveniently book their vaccination appointment.
Other features of the website include a vaccine tracker which lists the number of vaccines administered to date.
In a virtual press conference held on Thursday August 12, Minister of Health & Wellness, Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton stated, “it is your place to have questions and concerns answered and also features our vaccination implementation plan for your perusal as well as the latest news on COVID-19 and a link to the Government’s vaccine incentive programme.”
